Privacy notice

This covers www.linkclicks.com, the website of Link Clicks Inc. Our products have their own policies: MarketingBase and CycleCam.

What we collect

When you send the contact form, we receive what you type into it: your name, email address, company (if you give one), the service you chose and your message. We also use the IP address the message came from to limit abuse of the form, and keep only a one-way scrambled form of it, not the address itself.

To count visits and enquiries, this site uses the MarketingBase Universal Pixel, from our own product MarketingBase. It sends the pages you view, the page you came from, your browser's details and your IP address to MarketingBase's servers, and for the contact form it records when you start filling it in and when you send it, with the service you chose, not what you typed. If you arrived from an ad or a tracked link, it keeps the details of that click in one cookie on this site, lc_click_v1, for 30 days. It also keeps a record of your visit in your browser's storage (lc_sess_v1). The site runs no other analytics or advertising trackers.

Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when your browser fetches them.

How we use it

• To reply to you and discuss the project you asked about.
• To keep the form usable, by limiting how many messages one address can send.
• To see how people find this site and which pages lead to enquiries.

We do not sell your details, add you to a mailing list or share them with anyone except the services that deliver our email and host our servers.

Where it is kept

Messages are stored in this website's own database on our servers, hosted with Amazon Web Services, and delivered to our inbox by email. They are not shared with our products. We keep them for as long as we are talking about a project, and delete them on request.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete what we hold about you by replying to any email from us, or through the contact form.
